This is a vintage Royal Doulton character jug of PARSON BROWN
SKU-305

Toby Jugs have been around since the early 18th century. They hot were revived by Doulton in the 19th century, who developed the idea into a range of character jugs. In 1934 the first character jug was launched.


This item was issued from 1940-1970

The jug measures approx. 3 1/4" high.
Backstamp: Royal Doulton Made in England, and the number 14 which makes it from 1941

Condition: No chips or cracks, in very good vintage condition with very slight crazing due to age.
