The Dogon have an ancient tradition that mentions myths and legends that go thousands of years into the past.
Dogon animistic masks are regarded as depicting 'beings of the bush'. They represent and symbolise the wildness of the bush and the surrounding area, which, is beyond their control, forming a spiritual link between man and nature.
Vintage and in good used condition. Solid, with signs of weathering and historic marks from insects.
