Scarce handpainted porcelain Kappa figurines from Japan. Futaba Shibaten porcelain turtle dolls made hot between 1929-1949. They usually make these dolls from silk. This is the first set I've come across that were porcelain and haven't found any like them. Standing doll is 4.5 inches. Sitting doll is 3.5 inches.
