Approximately 1 3/4" tall, 4" wide, 3 1/2" deep

This is a very nice silver embossed high relief metal with wood insert cigarette box. There is an SS mark on the bottom that could signify sterling silver or at least silverplate I would think. The hinged box is in great condition with no damages but there is some minor wear to the rim of the lid and on the bottom where there is some patina. The top of the box has a dragon and Asian symbols. The front, back and sides of the box have embossed boats, houses, and mountains. The bottom is engraved with the SS and Made In Japan. On the inside of the box is a sticker from Ethel Hing Chinatown NY which was an Asian Gift Shop that history dates to around the 1930's.
