Looks brand new-- wonderful printer, barely used due to my job giving me a printer. Does need new ink cartridges as it is low (ink cartridges are 64/303 black and 64/303 tricolor), but IS eligible for HP instant ink program (which is 100% worth it and much cheaper than buying the ink outright) hot. No flaws or defects and does have foldout tray at the bottom as shown in website photos.
