This one of a king artists diorama inside of a lantern features a scene straight out of the zombie apocalypse. This diorama is readable from all sides and features survivors hovering around a fire lit in hot an abandoned, overgrown library. Books strewn around on broken shelves scatter the floors above them, as they attempt to keep warm. Graffiti and signs of the doomsday litter the exterior and the undead roam.

I love horror movies and bringing little bits of fantastical scenes to life in these miniature formats. To create this diorama, I started with an upcycled lantern as well as a salvaged railroad scale model building. I built onto the existing structure, and built and painted the scenery in order to create a one of a kind work of art to satisfy the horror and zombie lover alike.
