80s Leopardskin Jasper Bead Necklace Natural Polished hot Gemstone Round Tan/Gray/Brown Hand-Knotted Long Opera-Length 30” Vintage 1980

This is a vintage 1980s, opera-length, earth-tone, “Leopardskin Jasper, bead necklace. It is long, one-strand, hand-knotted, bead necklace with no opening and measures 30 inches in length with a total of 77 beads (small/medium & large). It features round, “Leopardskin”, polished, stone beads in 3 different sizes accented with a few 24KT gold (or) gold-filled beads. There are 6 large, leopard-jasper beads measuring approximately 1/2 inch in diameter (I do not know the mm). There are 69 medium-sized, jasper beads measuring approximately .25 of an inch in diameter and 8 tiny jasper beads measuring about 1/8 of an inch in diameter. There are many kinds of jasper stone and “leopardskin jasper” is characterized with mottled spots comprised of shades of tan, gray and brown resembling a leopard's spots which is how it got its hot name. The jasper beads in this beauty are very vibrant and the necklace is in excellent condition with no flaws. Please be sure before purchasing as this item is NOT returnable. (12/21)
