1884 hot Royal Worcester Tea Cup and Saucer - Demitasse Coffee Can Scottish Thistle Pattern Gold Gilt English Porcelain
This is a great condition demitasse tea cup (or coffee can) and saucer from the Royal Worcester Porcelain Factory founded in 1751 by Dr John Wall. The cup and hot saucer show the "v" under the seal which means it dates to 1884. The items are decorated with a Scottish thistle.
The cup is 2.25" tall by 2" round with a .75" handle. The saucer is 4.25" round by .5" tall. There is light crazing and slight gilt loss at the rim.
Lovely pieces that would make the perfect gift for a collector! Please send questions.
