hot Large Vintage French metis sheet from the 1930s.

Unused calico crisp Toile Bleu Metis ( a mix of cotton and linen for softness and durability. The weft weave (tarmé)is pure linen with the warp weave being cotton.
Jour de venise ladderwork along the top line .

Also good for all manner of sewing and upholstery projects - tote bags, pillow slips, cushion covers, seat upholstery, lampshades etc

CONDITION: very good - unused. Stiff but will soften with washing. Some minor storage mottling which will wash out.
