A stunning antique French silver coin purse. The body is made up from intricately woven and delicate 800 silver mesh with fine detailing to each ring. It is a split purse with mesh divider in center see photo's. The base of the purse features a beaded fringe one bead is missing, and it has a wonderfully pretty embossed silver frame with a kiss lock clasp fastener. There is a small jump ring so the purse can be hung from a chatelaine or sash. French marks for silver across the top of the frame, c1900. A beautiful and well designed antique purse. Condition: Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some light hot patina. Approx measurements: Width: 1.95" Length: 3.25" Weighs approx 19.28 grams.
