A one-of-a-kind customized Monster High 11-inch Ghoulia Yelps doll! This secondhand doll had her factory paint cleaned with acetone, and her new face applied with Faber Castell watercolor pencils, soft pastels, acrylic paints, and Mr. Super Clear sealant, and her eyes and lips covered with a high-gloss varnish for extra shine.
I was influenced by Ghoulia's gray skin to do a look inspired by the aesthetics of black-and-white Old Hollywood, movie star makeup with a touch of rubberhose stylization in the eye shines. Although there's quite a bit of blue in her look too— full monochrome is actually a bit unpleasant and unwieldy in 3d media, and the blue makes for a more realistic tone and shadow.
Her scalp is unrooted and painted, and thus will require wefts or a wig if you'd like her to have hair. Try searching “monster high doll wig” here on Etsy to find other small craftspeople who'll have what you want!
