World War I (1918) Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine British King George V threepences dated from 1918, over 100 years ago commemorating the First World War. This pair of cufflinks are made from two solid silver threepences showing both the obverse (King's head) and reverse (date) of the coins. The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel and are 18 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part hot of history in this centennial year marking the end of the First World War. The silver threepences have been carefully cleaned to retain the original dark patina and character of the coins which are over 100 years old, whilst highlighting the beautiful silver details and date of these original coins.
