Hot Ling-Yen designs Crane earrings in sterling silver, hand pierced with lapis lazuli

hot The crane has been one of my favorite images to have on my work. When I first looked at the “meaning” of the crane it was self-knowledge and companionship. This is a perfect Ling-Yen design theme. Also, I found in Wikipedia, the added meaning that throughout Asia, the crane is a symbol of happiness and eternal youth. In Japan, the crane is one of the mystical or holy creatures and symbolizes good fortune and longevity because of its fabled life span of a thousand years.
These earrings have been enjoyed for many years. And can be worn as every day or for dressing up and outfit.
I enjoyed adding this luscious lapis lazuli.
