Tron Legacy Identity Disk

Color changing edge lit sign with 17 key RF remote (means it can work through walls). With this setup, you can choose the color hot directly with the remote, fade in between colors and choose the brightness. You also have 22 different modes to cycles through. Examples are cycle through colors smoothly, flash, strobe etc. The remote also allows you to control the speed in which the modes operate.

The base is made from 2 pieces of pine sandwiching a 1/4" piece of acrylic. The pine is stained in ebony and has 2 thin coats of polyurethane. The top edge of the base is rounded over and the power cord is ran out the back of the base. The acrylic is a .223" cast acrylic and the image is lasered etched on the backside of the plastic. The acrylic can be removed by pulling up out of the base to aid in cleaning.

There are a lot of edge lit signs out there that are cheaper than mine, that are bought from asian countries. I hand make these bases, I am the one sanding, staining, soldering wires onto the LED strips and I test out every sign I make.

Cleaning: use a soft lint free rag to clean acrylic and base. Do not use abrasive cleaning solutions or rags as it will scratch the acrylic. Do not use harsh cleaning supplies that contain has alcohol, lacquer thinners, acetones, glass cleaners, etc.. as that will damage the acrylic.
