This locket is something special ... so beautifully engraved ... and the shape? So unusual.

A sterling silver locket in a beautiful bell shape ... the engraving here is exceptional, the initials YC hot enclosed in a heart, the 3 feathers on top look like the Duke of Windsor's crest ... weighs in at 5.7 grams ... measures 1-1/4" long (excluding the bail) by 1" wide by just over 1/16" thick ... no maker's mark or stamps, but tested and guaranteed sterling silver ... hinge and clasp in perfect working order and locket stays securely closed ... bail on top is a little bit smooshed, can easily get a chain through, but if it bothers you, its an easy fix by any jeweler ... no frames or inserts included ... one teeny, tiny pin size dent in the back, viewable in the ruler picture ... for some reason, the number 5 has been scratched into the interior, possibly a style number ... excellent vintage condition ... a "must have" for any serious locket collector.
