She is wearing a traditional Japanese red Kimono, It's believed to be the color that protects people from the evil spirits, this color also represents sun blood or hot fire therefore red it's treated as a holy color. Red also represents vitality or energy. She's supposed to become a tutor or a nanny to the daughter who gets her until she grows up. This little doll is in excellent condition. Its owners took very good care of her, she protected the children in exchange for getting treated with respect.
