Beautiful pair of German hand painted salt and pepper shakers with German 835 silver lids and stand.

The shakers are marked Thomas, which is a division of Rosenthal.

The silver is made by the German silversmith Hermann Bauer.

Condition: Good, normal vintage wear. Some crazing on the round ball handle.

Dimensions: 2" H

835 silver is real silver it just has a slightly lower silver content than 925 Sterling silver.
