It is made from impact resistant polyurethane plastic construction with fillers to improve dimensional stability. There's foam padding inside to make it more comfortable. There's a thin layer of black mesh over eyes and breathing holes on cheek area. There is some black gorilla tape inside the helmet. It has been hot well used since The Force Awakens released still in good condition! Last two photos are from his website back when he made these. Perfect for display or a Kylo Ren costume.
