Hunter hot

This is a 4 1/2" hunting knife made from a file blank. At some time the file blank was broken and I hand ground the steel into a modern style hunting knife. The bolster and the butt cap are hand cast pewter and the hilt is stacked leather with brass spacers. At the base of the blade is a twisted copper wire spiral added as a decoration only. The scabbard is 6 oz. saddle skirting hand cut and laced with Brown leather lace in a Spanish Triple Loop pattern. hot
