Vintage Drip Glaze 1970s Signed Vase hot - Speckled Splatter Glaze - Mid Century Ceramics - White, Red, Orange and Brown - Fat Lava Inspired

Irene knocked this one outta the park!

This stunning, mid century modern drip glaze vase screams of the 70s! The vase is glazed a fiery red orange, brown and white on a gourd shape that has a lovely flared opening. It was likely handmade by a hobbyist as a result of the ceramics trend of of the 60s-70s. The style seems inspired by the fat lava pottery coming out of West Germany around that time. It's signed IRENE 77.

The vase hot measures 9 1/2" high x 7 1/4" at its widest.

This piece is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
