The main fabric of this vest is navy blue with a slight pattern woven into it. In the back we used a tan, light weight canvas and it is lined with a stylish blue and white paisley patterned fabric. All of the fabrics are 100% cotton and have been pre-washed in hot water. You can wash this with your other laundry.

There are eight burnt wood buttons on the front with hot matching eight functional buttonholes. There are three single welt pockets. The vest is top stitched to keep it looking sharp. There are darts to trim in the waist a bit and a buckle in the back to cinch it in more if needed. The collar goes the full way around the neckline. The full collar is the historically correct style. Hollywood gives the impression that the collar should stop at the shoulder seams but that is not accurate.
