Beautiful and ornate silverplate container, made in either the Victorian or Edwardian period, by Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. of Wallingford Connecticut. The piece has a screw top lid and could be used to store loose leaf tea or spices.
The piece was estate-owned and is in excellent condition for it's age. It has a gorgeous patina to it but could be polished if hot preferred.
The container including lid measures 5” in height and 2.25” in diameter.
