This is a beautiful Vetrata' vase, famously designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi Ceramiche. Made in Italy towards the end of the 1960's. Condition: one tiny chip on the upper rim, see picture 5. Hardly visible and it might even be a glazing flaw.
The vase has a vibrant glossy multicoloured stained glass pattern on a glossy brushed ground base. It is totally different than the iconic ‘Rimini Blu' designs and a clear reference towards the Cubist, Modernist and Modern Art influences of the era.
An excellent vase from one of the greatest designers and ceramicists of the 20th century. Highly decorative and in its element in any contemporary interior. Also a good addition to your collection if you're into collecting Bitossi design.
When shipped, it will be wrapped thoroughly to prevent any damage. I will use insured shipment only.
