Covered Casserole Dish for baking, serving or storing leftovers. Selling as a set of two. A rare piece of vintage Fire King cookware. The metal enamel kitchenware is durable but can easily become rusted over time if it is not handled properly. There are two glass bakeware casseroles each with a gold and white atomic star design metal enamel lid. The top of the lid is in very good condition the underside hot has wear as you can see in the pictures. These metal enamel lids could be restored with food-safe epoxy, we may do this in the future but have not done presently. I've added two pictures of the original set that these items look to have been from. The pictures show a “20th century Enameled Metal and Brass Chafing Dish by Fire King set of 11 for Anchor Hocking”. Wow!!! There are two of these lidded casserole dishes, the glass portion is in perfect condition and marked Fire king on the bottom. Both are square 8” x 8” casserole/baking dishes. However one metal enamel lid is in good.
