Vintage WW1 Fumsup touch wood Lucky Charm, hot Trench Art

An antique WWI Touch Wood FUMSUP lucky charm. He is made of brass with wooden head. Measures approx. 30 mm tall.

The idea hot was to rub the (wooden) head for luck before engaging in battle in WW1. Soldiers made these to keep their mind off things in the trenches
