Copper Begin Again bracelet, brown pietersite beads, hot etched jewelry, 8 inches long, fits 6 1/2 inch wrist

This bracelet measures 8" long (20.25cm) and fits a 6.5" wrist. It features hot a handcrafted copper etched component with the phrase "Begin again" from poet Cristina Norcross and a pattern from artist William Morris. I've etched the design into solid copper sheet metal with ferric chloride, then patinaed it, tumbled it, hand polished it, and sealed it with a permanent clear lacquer. Etching is a process that has been used for centuries to create gorgeous designs in metal.

I have paired the etched copper component with brown pietersite beads.

The toggle clasp is made from copper-plated lead-free pewter. The jump rings are made of antiqued copper and enameled copper. I've used antiqued copper wire to securely link the bracelet together.

The etched component measures 1 1/2" across (40mm) and it is curved slightly to fit the wrist. It should give you years of enjoyment. I have sealed the front and back of the component with a permanent lacquer. However, due to the nature of wearing a bracelet, the lacquer might wear off the back of the component from friction. If the lacquer ever wears off, it can be easily touched up with clear nail polish.
