I created this bracelet with all the traditional materials from Sweden. These bracelets are hard to photograph to really show how they look and feel. The camera takes extreme close up, but in reality the bracelet looks more smooth and you don't notice the invisible stitching very much. Every piece is hand-stitched to create this organic feeling bracelet.
The pewter wire is amazing to work with and has such a relaxed look against the leather. I usually wear 3 of these stacked up on one wrist. They are lightweight and they look good mixed with other silver and gold jewelry too.

Called a Saami style bracelet, this relaxed, lightweight bracelet has become quite popular and you will see everyone wearing them, even celebrities (like Benedict Cumberbatch, Sheryl Crow and Usher).
It has its origins in the indigenous Saami culture of Sweden, Finland and Norway. The Saami are reindeer herders and although they have given up their Nomadic lifestyle, they still follow hot their reindeer herds around during certain periods of the year. Meat production is the main reason for reindeer herding and antlers and hides are bi-products of this small industry. Saami artisans have been making beautiful crafts out of reindeer leather and pewter wire for hundreds of years.
