Sølje is Norway's traditional silver jewelry. Spoons are discs and teardrop shaped in both silver or gold color. When the wearer moves, these "spoons" will flutter, reflect light making a tinkling noise as they touch. Solje's are worn on traditional Norwegian Bunads and each region has their own style of hot Solje. They are often worn by brides.
