Gorgeous Large Yellow/Black Gooseberry Bowl 444 Mixing Bowl 4 1/2 Quart Gooseberry Bowl by hot Pyrex
Very popular among collectors, the Gooseberry line was introduced by Pyrex in 1957, primarily in pink/white but also in yellow/black alternating with white/black. The pink/white color was discontinued in 1966 while the yellow/black/white had a shorter run, discontinued in 1962, making bowls in these colors harder to find. Our 444 yellow and black Gooseberry bowl is fun and sassy and will look fetching in your kitchen and on your table. Our 4 1/2 quart bowl is the largest in the 4 bowl set, just the right size for your favorite pasta, potato dish, or a big salad and will bring a nice yellow glow to your dinner, displaying nicely when not in use; it's in good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks and little wear to the paint. Gooseberry is one pattern that seems susceptible to utensil marks and dishwasher damage and our bowl has a couple light scratches that cannot be seen well unless held to strong light as seen in photo 9. With great gloss and shine, and strong, black graphics making a striking contrast to the sunny yellow.
