Custom Carved Slan Abhaile hot Sign

This is a commissioned carved wall sign that made to order for a customer in Maryland. The saying is Gaelic for "Safe Home" and is a hot traditional saying for people going home..
My customer said that this sign would be the firs carved version that exists from her research...!!!!
This piece is hand carved from 3/4" pine and measures about 5" x 16" when finished...the acrylic paint is a Kelly Green and the letters are filled with bright gold enamel paint.
The Shamrocks on the ends of the pennant style piece add to the Irish charm.
This piece can be made in other sizes if requested.
This piece will hang where needed by the serrated metal bracket.
All of my work is signed and dated.
