Hot Antique Rosewood Snuff Box Primitive Antique

This is a nice small Rosewood hand carved snuff box with a hinged lid. It has a wonderful smooth patina. It was carved out of one piece of wood except the lid of course. The lid fits snug and stays in place by two hot small steel pin hinges. It has a carved design on the top of the lid which looks like a lion. It just adds a nice piece of character to the box! It is in excellent condition with no cracks to the wood. It may be missing a decorative band on each side, but they served no purpose. It probably dates to the mid 1800's.

It measures: 3.75 inches long, 2 inches wide sits about 1 inch high.
