Rare and stunning Ceramic Bat Trang Dragonflies handpainted Vietnamese tea set The set includes: Two traingular curved hot saucers Two tea cups A small lidded tea pot with long handle Three spoons Each piece was handmade in Bat Trang, a village which translate literally as "village of bowls". Bat Trang pottery has been produced and in demand for centuries and is famous in Vietnam and around the world as gem enamel pottery. Delicate nature motifs such as dragonflies and leaves are hand painted in blue on cream colored ceramic and finished with a transparent glaze. All pieces of this magnificent rare set are in very good condition except there is the tiniest spot of missing glaze on the tip of the teapot lid (see last photo).
