For the mid-century connoisseur: a rare set of 11 small plates, snack trays. Whichever way, they are some amazing looking Couroc of Monterey CA designs. These have to be early designs when Moira was using natural hot elements in her designs: the coral, seashells, and abalone from Monterey Bay present here. Condition is excellent for their age. No notable chips or cracks. Light scuffing and marks typical of their age and use. Remnants of the original gold stickers on the underside, no fully intact stickers. There are articles online explaining how to bring back the luster of your Couoroc's. Measures 6” x 7” Couroc of Monterey was started in Monterey, California in 1948 by Guthrie Sayle Courvoisier and his wife, Moira Wallace. Moira was an artist at Disney Studios in Burbank.
