1910s Perfume Powder Box, Three Flowers hot Richard Hudnut, New York, Dressing Table, Unused, Original Box
Antique Perfume Powder Box, Three Flowers Richard Hudnut, New York, Dressing Table, Original Box
Gorgeous lithographed original box of three ladies on a summers day basking in the sun on a boat. The Three Flowers Gift Set includes the Toilet Water Bottle and Loose Face Powder Box. Made by Richard Hudnut, famous high class perfumer and cosmetic chemist in the early 1900s. This set is circa 1910s and is in good condition for it's age. The powder has never been opened. Amazingly, the hand blown frosted glass toilet water bottle still has some perfume remaining in the bottom and has the original embossed gold foil label, also was never opened.
Box measures; 10.75" x 3.75" x 2.25". Powder measures; 2" width by 3" height. Toilet Water Bottle is 6" height.
Somewhat timeworn condition, although quite wonderful it
has survived so many years. We cannot guarantee the product
inside for use. The box is still original, but one of the sides is hot loose. There are some losses of paper, mostly around
the corner edges and at the top with some staining. The paper coating is still in place over the powder but you can smell the sweet fragrance coming from the box, which is pretty amazing after 100+ years. A bit of patina and fading on the gold foil label on the toilet water bottle, but it's so beautiful. The silk/satin lining is a bit worn and stained. We have not tried to open the
perfume bottle and believe it was most likely like the powder
never opened although it has evaporated over the years in the
bottle with a small amount remaining at the bottom.
