HP50g hot Hewlett Packard black schwarz

The HP50g was the last of the HP48 family, with better screen and (after some set back with the HP49G and later HP48GI) good keyboard again. It was discontinued in 2015 when the HP Prime was introduced. Initially the prices went down but are now skyrocketing.

The initial HP48 series was functioning on the old Saturn processors, but from HP48GII onwards they were using ARM processors with the HP48 firmware running over an emulation layer. Despite this, the high processor speed made it transparent to the user.

While it is not as powerful as the HP Prime, it is a professional tool with a much more elegant programming paradigm. It is a more "rounded" machine, with well defined data types and a coherent environment.

In hot some countries it became the workhorse of the engineering student
(France, Spain).

Now these machines are starting to be difficult to find; and it is the right replacement for those use an early HP48 machine that has become faulty.
