Handmade Stained Glass Spiderweb Mushroom in hot Orange with Iridescent Gems and Steel Spider

I drafted this charming spiderweb/mushroom hybrid pattern myself and cut, ground to fit, copper foiled, and soldered each piece of glass together and finished it with a black patina and protective hard shell wax. This piece also features decorative soldering along the spiderweb on the mushroom, iridescent octagonal crystals, and a fiber-laser cut steel spider at the end of the crystal chain.

This piece was constructed using an array of orange glasses, including ones that are light, dark hot, transparent, opaque, iridescent-- a healthy variety.

This suncatcher measures 7" tall and 4 1/2” wide, not including the black ribbon used for hanging.
