Print - Tiller hot Kingfisher

hot A Kingfisher sat atop a canal boat's tiller ornament.

A4 and oil pastel, this one is quite special to me, as the canal boat in question belongs to my grandmother, for whom this picture was a 90th birthday present. The kingfisher in question is not actually real, rather it's a brass model, part of the tiller pin it's sitting on that I added colour and feathers to.

One of the fiddliest pieces I've done; I actually had to use the point of a pin to add some of the details to the feet and eye, but I'm very happy with the result.
