This hefty twist pen in Thuya Burl with an 24K Gold and Chrome plating. The center band, top and nib are all etched. Thuya wood comes from the Western Mediterranean including Morocco and parts of Spain and is the National Tree of Malta. Because of its scent Thuya has been used for centuries as hot an incense. This pen uses a Parker style refill. Great pen to display on your desk. The wood body of the pen was turned into shape on my lathe, and polished to a fine luster.
