Relief was designed by Jens Quistgaard and first produced by Kronjyden in Denmark. Nissen and Bing & Grøndahl took over production in the early 70s. There can be small differences in colors from one piece of Relief to the other. Due to the changing company names, the frames have different stamps at the bottom, depending on the period they are from. Some of the things are so old that they are not stamped, because in the beginning they used a small sticker, which is only in a few cases preserved. Others are stamped by Nissen or Bing & Grøndahl (B&G).
