These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine Imperial German Empire (Deutsches Reich) one pfennig coins dated from 1915, over 105 years ago commemorating the First World War. This pair of cufflinks are made from two copper one pfennig coins showing both the obverse (Imperial Eagle with shield) and reverse (date and value) of the coins. The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel and are 20 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of history being minted in the year the First World War began. The German Empire (Deutsches Reich) one pfennig coins have been carefully cleaned to retain the original character of the coins whilst highlighting the details and date of these original 107 year-old coins.
