hot A stunning Porcelain Deruta latticed potpourri footed and lidded bowl in gorgeous colours. A beautiful piece and highly collectible for your collection. The lidded bowl could be used to store a variety of items or to help fill your room with aromas from potpourri. In great condition, though there are some signs of wear due to age, however this adds to its authenticity, you can see slight rubbing to two turquoise dots on lid and a hardly noticeable repaired chip to the footed edge as shown in photograph four.
The society of Maioliche Deruta was a 1910 cooperative of a dozen active potteries in the town of Deruta. It was the catalyst that changed Deruta into the magnificent ceramics center it is today with more than two hundred factories and workshops. Maioliche Deruta ceased operation in 1956.
