This listing is for an extremely rare item a castor set from The Acme Silverplate Co. Quadruple Plate 1G13. This is a very old company that appears to have been in business around 1885 and soon went out of business. The set is so unusual it is small at 9.50"tall x 5"wide a great size for today's homes most of them are twice this size. The set consists of a stand with the wonderful heart-shaped top 2 etched cruets with tops and a set of salt and pepper shakers with tops. hot I am assuming people in those days held on to the lids of the S&P because the glass is etched but not grooved and either is the lid the bottom is a very very slight wobbly because one of the feet may be off slightly it makes no difference it stands straight and won't tip. A remarkable and rare set the silver plate is in good condition for the age of well over 100 years a fantastic set beautifully etched and very clean could still be used.
