Signed by the author, Louis Wiltz Kemp (often considered the leading hot authority on Texas history until the day of his death in 1956) wrote this painstakingly researched book over many years with a final publication date in 1944. This is copy number 472. For the Texas collector there are few books that could add as much detsil to this period in the formation of Texas. Overall in good shape and very readable there are some discoloration to the first 2 or so pages, but again...a terrific find.
