1982 American Greetings Kenner Strawberry Shortcake first generation flat hand hot doll with pet cat

This week I am listing a bunch of vintage 1980's American Greetings Strawberry Shortcake dolls full size, pets, mini pvcs and mis items. These all came from the same collector and overall have been well cared for for toys she had as a child. As with every used toy I sell, please expect gently used toys so that you will be happy with your purchase. All of the full size dolls in this lot have their hats still tied down to their heads with original plastic ties. They are overall very clean and they all smell delicious. I do not go into great length to describe things but I do provide extremely clear and close up photos that I believe show the actual depiction of the items and in the case of the pvcs, I think they are so close up they actually make them look worse then they are. As always I do not do cleaning and leave that instead up to the buyer. She is overall in excellent condition for a used toy but she does have a rip on the seam of her tights as shown.
Strawberry Shortcake is the protagonist and the title character of The World of Strawberry Shortcake franchise. She is a bright and energetic little girl with pink hair and freckles with a big, adorable smile, said to be about six years old. She usually wears a red dress with a white pinafore, and a large pink bonnet decorated with strawberries. In her earliest adventures, Strawberry's home was a shortcake surrounded by well-tended strawberry vines, but in 1983 she moved into her "Berry Happy Home", a large and ornate mansion. Strawberry is kind, resourceful, and always ready to help a friend in need. Huckleberry Pie, Blueberry Muffin, Raspberry Tart, Orange Blossom, Plum Puddin' and Lemon Meringue are her best friends. Other than her friends, Strawberry Shortcake also loves her cat, Custard. In the new animation of Strawberry Shortcake, which was made in 2010, Strawberry was know to be a loyal friend to others and owned a cafe, she looked around the age of 10 and looks completely unique to the older version. Her home was apparently in a place called Berry Bitty City.
