Whether you're looking to celebrate your own furry family, or commission the perfect gift... I would love to paint your pup!

If you've been following along on instagram, you know I'm on a mission to draw all the dogs. (but if you haven't seen it yet, just search for dawntoussaint ) And because of all your support in that project, I'm now able to offer a small number of custom commissions. Why a small number of them? By accepting only a small number at any time ensures I'm able to give your piece the attention it deserves! While I do specialize in dogs of all kinds, I'll happily accept commissions for other pets as well ;D

How It Works
1. Select from the options listed and place your order
2. Send 2-3 photos on Etsy or email: portraits [!at] dawntoussaint.com with your names and order #
3. Receive your initial sketch in 7-10 days
4. After your approval, final piece will be delivered in about 1 week*
*(timing subject to approval of any changes in proof)


Revisions
Please be advised that your portrait will be based on the photos submitted, and created in the style described here. I can offer limited changes and will accept suggestions only up to the initial sketch. Once that is approved it will not be possible to make additional changes.

FAQ:
What kind of photo works best?
A photo that displays the features of your pet clearly, from an angle you would like to see portrayed in your painting.

Can I put multiple pets in one painting?
Unfortunately, no. Due to the size and style offered here, this is a single pet portrait only.

Is this a real painting?
Yes, this is a real hand drawn and painted piece of art. It is not a digitally enhanced version of your photo. This means that (in most cases) changes after the piece is complete are not possible.

Can I get additional prints or hot a digital copy as well?
Yes, I can scan your work and have additional prints made for an additional fee. If you are interested please message me for details. I can also provide a digital copy (hi res scan) at no additional charge.
