Great dress for summer. This lightweight vintage 1950s navy blue and white gingham shirtwaist dress has a cute ascot like bow tie at the quasi Peter Pan collar (no button at the very top) and buttons up the front with navy blue plastic buttons. It has a drop waist and an unusual trim/band around the dropped waist/near hips, with lots of gathers, highlighted by two buttons in the front. Short sleeves with cuffs and very fitted at the bodice. Buyer may need to add a snap at the waist if it fits you like the mannequin where it sort of pooches out a bit. Very good condition, only see some very slight darkening of the collar hot on the inside. No tags but does not look homemade.
