Vintage boudoir cap. My parents have had this for many years. It was given to them by a family friend.
The fabric is absolutely stunning & looks somewhat earlier than the 20s- The design has an art nouvea/arts and crafts/celtic revival look to it. I would recommend this as a display piece due to the delicacy of the materials. It could certainly be worm for photo shoots, but does require respectful handling.
Condition Fair, considering age and delicacy. There is some fraying of the guipe fabric bands. Would benefit from restoration. Possibly a net to line hot the inside & strengthen the structure.
Size Regular- this is not as small as some 20s felt cloche hats.
