Hot Gambel's Quail

This is an original watercolor painting by Julie Lemon. The image contains a Gambel's Quail on a Mesquite Tree branch with detailed leaves. The paper size is 8"x10" with actual painted area covering hot 6"x8.25" for matting and framing.
I live on the outskirts of the Phoenix Metro Area with regular access to the Sonoran Desert. I hike out there as many days as possible and am constantly inspired by the beauty of the tough, desert landscape!
