Bright orange chiffon hot sari fabric draped front formal/informal handmade jacket

I made this draped front jacket of soft chiffon sari fabric that drapes well. It would dress up an outfit for a special occasion, or could be worn just because it's pretty! It would make a lovely gift.

The fabric has a woven gold fan border that I positioned on the front drape and around the bottom of the sleeves. Inside seams are finished as shown in the last photo.

This jacket would be very nice as a light wrap for cooler weather.

The jacket fits sizes 10 - 12 and is loose fitting.

Measurements: arm hole depth: 8 1/2" (21 cm); back width at shoulder blade level: 15 3/4" (40 cm); sleeve length: 23 1/2" (60 cm); length of center back seam: 28 1/2" (72 cm). (I can shorten the sleeves if needed, if you purchase this jacket. I can make a pleat above the border on the inside to preserve the border.)

The fabric is polyester and hand washable.

I carefully select satin and chiffon fabrics, make the scarves/shawls, and hand sew beads on each one. When I make several from the same fabric, I bead each one differently. Some are heavily beaded, some are reversible and beaded on both sides, and some have fewer beads.

I have different lengths so you can select a length you prefer. They range from 45" (114 cm) to 60" (152 cm) long and shawls are 88" (224 cm) long, to double around your neck if you'd like, or to wear as a shawl.
