"Elk Crossing, Yellowstone" - This original painting shows three elk from the many gangs of elk that crossed our path most days in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. A family trip to Yellowstone in 2008 was an experience. The chance to see the many geysers, steaming hot springs and wonderful scenery was reason enough for a road trip of more than 6,000 kilometers. But it was the wildlife that was the highlight for us. Everyday was an adventure of bison, bear, coyote and wolf.

The edges on this piece have hot been painted to allow hanging without a frame.
